My first pony arrived on our farm when I was only three years old. From this feisty welsh pony, I progressed through a series of large and small ponies and horses- riding, jumping, driving and just hacking around the wood roads on my family's New Hampshire farm. Then we moved to Italy, where, at the age of seventeen, I was granted a full scholarship at The Academy of Fine Arts in Rome; and later at one of Rome's leading commercial art colleges. It was in Italy that I met and married my husband Les, who originated from Kenya, East Africa and played in a popular rock band.

With a background in commercial art, illustration and design, I have gone back to my roots. Again I live on a farm, but this time in Maine. Our sons are grown, and art has taken the forefront in my life. My husband and I live in the countryside where we raise Welsh Cobs to drive and enjoy Tennessee Walking horses to ride. Our tiny cottage is surrounded by perennial gardens full of flowers and fields full of wildlife. The horses, the wildlife and the flowers are my inspiration. My days are spent painting and creating my soul-feeding artwork.

Sweet Adeline is our Pembroke Welsh Corgi.
The sun rises and sets on her.
